New Language Guide Days
18 - 19 May 2019 | Amsterdam
The three workshops are designed for IB teachers already experienced working with the previous specific programs, who are interested in focusing upon making the transition between the current program and the new program.
Sessions will focus upon ways to make the Learner Portfolio a vehicle for ongoing learning and student agency, how to transition from the existing assessment models to successfully meet the program aims and objectives of the new assessments (Individual Oral Commentary, Paper 1 Guided Textual Analysis, and Paper 2 Essay). While each of the sessions will address how to integrate the Areas of Exploration, Key Concepts, and Global Issues, the last session in the workshop will focus upon how departments and schools can develop reading lists most suitable for their students and contexts.
